A big exhibition of Arabic calligraphy titled “Jesus in Quran and Bible” has been organized in Athens, the capital city of Greece.
According to alahram website, the Cultural Center of Egypt organized the exhibition, which features Quranic verses and quotes from the Bible about Jesus (Isa Alaihis Salam).
The Foreign Cultural Relations Section of Egypt’s Ministry of Culture has cooperated in holding the exhibition.
An educational workshop has also been held on the sidelines of the exhibition to get the Egyptian children residing in the Greek city acquainted with the art of calligraphy and Arabic script.
The artworks presented at the exhibition are by Salah Abdul Khaliq, Egyptian calligrapher, and the workshop is taught by Hussein Mar’i, director of Egypt’s Cultural Center in Athens.
