The Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) is the most widely recognized authority on baseball history. They researched and found the top 10 baseball players in the world baseball history. Members of Society for American Baseball Research voted in 1999 on five different points and the followings are the results of the top 10 Greatest Baseball Players.

3. Barry Bonds: Barry Lamar Bonds is a former American baseball left fielder who played 22 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). He is the third top baseball player of the world.
4. Ted Williams: Ted Williams was commonly known as “Ted”. He was an American Base ball player. He played about 19 years in MLB. Now he is the top 4th baseball player of the world.
5. Hank Aaron: Henry Louis was known as “Hank” . He was born in February 5, 1934. He was also nicknamed “Hammer”, or “Hammerin’ Hank”. He is a retired American professional baseball player now. He was a MLB right fielder from 1954 through 1976. In 1999, The Sporting News ranked Aaron fifth on their “100 Greatest Baseball Players” list. Now he is the 5th top baseball player of the world.
6. Ty Cobb: Tyrus Raymond was known as “Ty” Cobb. He was born in rural Narrows, Georgia. Now he is the top 6th baseball player of the world.
7. Roger Clemens: William Roger Clemens was born in August 4, 1962. He was an American former baseball player. He played 24 seasons in MLB for four teams. Roger was one of the most dominant pitchers in major league history. Now he is the top 7th Baseball player of the world.
8. Stan Musial: Stanley Frank was commonly known as “Stan”. He was an American professional baseball player. He was a MLB outfielder. He was Nicknamed as “Stan the Man”. Stan is widely considered to be one of the greatest hitters in baseball history of the world. Now he is the top 8th Baseball player of the world.
9. Mickey Mantle: Mickey Charles Mantle was born in October 20, 1931 and lived till August 13, 1995. He was nicknamed “The Commerce Comet” or “The Mick”. Once upon a time, Micky was an American professional baseball player. Now he is the top 9th baseball player of the world.
10. Honus Wagner: Johannes Peter was commonly known as “Honus”. He was nicknamed as”The Flying Dutchman” also. He was a top American MLB player. Honus played in the National League from 1897 to 1917. Now he is the top 10th best baseball player of the world.
